So I've been helping this friend for months with money, etc. and they consistently tell me that they appericate it however they rarely do anything to show it.

I mean I've tried for weeks to go for a coffee to barely any response.

And they text me this Monday that they've gone skiing with some new person - a random met at their new job - that weekend.

I'll admit there's been a few times I've overreacted to their behavior but that was due to them being rude, ignorant, mean, disrespectful, etc. towards me.

I'd say that affects them wanting to hang out - except they've admitted they want to hang out just they never deliver on this

Do you have a pretty regular routine that you follow most days?

For the girls, does your man have a routine that he sticks to?

I used to have a stranger crush on a guy from college and the feeling was Mutual (according to his friends) but we never talked and he seemed very reserved around me and never made any moves.

Now years later he met another girl in college he works with in a group and he was very flirty and confident around her from the very beginning, he acts very touchy feely with her, leans in, acts cutesy and started dressing better.

Why did he never try to impress me or talk to me like that If he was crushing on me too? Does he find her more attractive? Or is it because he has established rapport with her but not with me? Or because she is more outgoing and talkative?

He smiles and seems comfortable about me flirting with him… he doesn’t look uncomfortable or anything… but he also doesn’t make any moves?

I had an acquaintance who I know finds me physically attractive. He would subtly stare and look my way when I’m around - this has been going on for half a year now. Good news is that we got recently acquainted and I believe he might be pass the attraction stage to crush phase?

we had a nice 1:1 catch-up where he displayed all the signs of attraction (very animated (way more than his usual self), quite the gentleman) and then he couldn’t stop smiling when he saw me around. Trying to spend more time w me / asking if I was going to joint Events

And then the weekend passed and when I was around him this week, he seemed on-edge, purposely passing by my side but walking really fast like swooshing pass me. His natural demeanour is cool call and collected so I obviously noticed

is this a sign he is not comfortable around me (for whatever reasons) or that he just does not know what to do with his feelings for me?

and if it’s because he doesn’t know what to do with feelings, what can I do to make it easier for both of us? I notice guys do get very uncomfortable around me and even though I am very certain they are at least physically attracted to me, it still makes me feel like an awkward person if someone is avoiding me.

For instance certain sociable chatty people who make small talk with everyone else and who usually ignore me or act standoffish would start chatting me up when I dress nicely and act super friendly. Is my face not pretty enough to be treated like a normal human being that I have to flaunt my body?

I've once heard someone mocking a man for these reasons. That jerk was one of those people that goes with along with the mantra of men always having to be strong, suck it up and be a man. Personally I think these are valid ones. Would you say these are good reason for a man to really cry? What do you think?

- His long-term girlfriend said no to his marriage proposal. There were no issues in the relationship, all was good but she only wants him as a boyfriend, misled him, gave him false hope.

- A serious ilness in the family and he's overwhelmed with too much in his life that he can't bottle it up anymore and breaks down in tears, letting it all out for once.

- He finds out that as a result of a medical condition or genetic mutation, he'll never be able to father a child ever. I knew someone like that. He sat down, pulled his shirt over his head and literally broke down in tears.
