When taking a tompon out should it hurt me, im a virgin?

As long as you are on your period when using the tampon and there is a significant amount of blood (not a lighter day), it will not hurt at all.

Don't listen to the piercing hole thing -- is not true, plus not guy in a developed country closely inspects for a hymen before sex. A lot of women don't have hymen to begin with. If your hymen is too thick for a tampon, it is probably too thick for blood to pass through and would have had it taken care of by now.

I started using tampons at least 5 years before I ever became remotely sexually active. If you relax when you put it in, and when you take it out, it will be fine, the vagina is like rubber, very stretchy. If you are not on your period, your vagina may be very dry and this will cause discomfort trying to insert a tampon into it.

You can always try putting a finger in your vagina in the shower or something, a tampon is thinner than a finger.

My mother told me not to use one because she says if I use one - it can pierce a hole and then guys won't know I'm a virgin when I sleep with them for the first time. DON'T USE A TAMPON.

I'm guessing you're referring to the hymen when you say "pierce a hole" and yes, it can tear while using a tampon, but activities such as bike riding, horseback riding, stretching, etc can also break your hymen. Also, bleeding doesn't always occur during someone's first time, depending on the person.

Just wanna add to what MissingNirvana said. you can also be born without a hymen so that really has nothing to do with your virginity

I personally don't use tampons. I've tried it, and just didn't really care for it. Pads are just safer and simpler to me. That being said, I know that it can hurt when you take it out. Not just virgins, but other girls as well I've heard. It's not necessarily normal, but it's not super alarming either. If it's your first time, you could be putting it in wrong if it's painful. Make sure you read the directions very carefully and try to stay very relaxed while inserting, or it can hurt.

No it really shouldn't hurt if you insert it properly and its "full" when you remove it (you know cause it'll start to leak a bit). It might if your hymen is still intact but I highly doubt even that would make it hurt too bad :)

When I first used a tampon, it didn't really hurt like I thought it would. Putting it in was slightly uncomfortable since I wasn't use to the feeling, just make sure you insert it at an angle. When I took it out, I just felt a tiny sting since it was still kinda dry cause I took it out too early, but the second time, there was no pain at all
