I'm having Morning after pill woes?

I was away on a business trip and when i returned my fiance and i got busy a little too quickly...but i took a morning after pill. Less than a week later i had cramps and bleeding like a period for five days. But now i'm wondering if i'm pregnant. I'm having breast tenderness and a little nausea. I'm a little scared to take a pregnancy test because i'm not sure if i'll be a good mother if i am pregnant. So am i being a little paranoid or did the m.a fail me?

Thank you so much for the support. I've never taken a plan B before and trust me the experience was... anyway I'm NOT pregnant... I took 2 p. ts and eventually started my period.. though i admit now i'm not sure how i feel *shrugs shoulders*

It's quite a rational fear, but your chances of being pregnant are really slim to none. How soon after unprotected sex did you take the pill?

It technically doesn't abort anything, it just prevents the egg from getting fertilized in the first place. So unless this all happened on the day you were ovulating, and you didn't take the pill pretty soon after the fact, you're fine. Your body is just in actual withdrawal from the massive amount of hormones you put into is via the plan B. When I took it, I felt nauseous, light-headed, as well as my breasts were tender and a bit bigger.

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be fine. Do watch out for the PMS before your next period though. The one immediately following my taking the plan-B, I admit I was quite the psycho bitch set off at the tiniest things but all was well with the world after I got my period. :P
