How do I quit chewing my nails?

What can I do to drop the habit of chewing my nails? I have already tried painting them, but that does not work!

Punish yourself every time you bite them (maybe five push-ups every time you catch yourself doing it). Reward yourself at the end of every day that you haven't bitten your nails: maybe a chocolate bar. Soon enough you'll stop

id start chewing gum and cutting nails every week. i cut it really short. that how i stopped biting :/

try a gum maybe this will makes your mouth busy and maybe you won't chew anymore
