Is it weird that every time I sleep my period overflows the pad? It happens all the time! please help me!

No it's not weird your vaginal muscles are relaxed when you are sleeping and the lining in your vagina thins while your on your period my daughters had the same issue. You probably just need a heavier flow pad to wear at night the pads your using are probably to thin.

Please know you are normal and your still learning this body you have I'm sure there must be some days with all the emotions and hormones that puberty brings on that you may feel like a tourist in your own body.

You are going to be fine as I told my daughters who are now grown.

No its totally normal! Don't worry it happens all the time! What I do, is I wear two maxi pads at night time.
Although, if your period is EXTREMELY heavy, there are these special period nappies, (in America you guys call them diapers, right?) that you can get at your local drugstore. If it's too embarrassing to be seen purchasing those nappies in public, just order them online:) and don't worry, it's all normal.

Also, I don't recommend sleeping with tampons in. It's very unhygienic and can be dangerous while you're sleeping. You might accidentally pull it out or shove it right in lol

That's pretty normal, it happens to me too. If you have a heavy period, then you can change your pad right before you go to bed and the chances are it'll still overflow.

Yeah you have heavy period. I suggest getting those maxi pads. They are large and thick. And do the job for me :)

Try tampons... and if you still bleed through that, sleep with a tampon and a pad.

Try a tampon and failing that both, don't worry, it happens to us all once or twice.

It doesn't necessarily over flow... When you lay on your stomach or back, it usually flows in that direction... Empty ur bladder before bed and wear night time pad's. They are usually bigger and made for heavy flow
