How to get rid of white heads and black heads?
helpppppp meeeeee
For black heads, couldn't really tell ya. I've had them since grade 8, still do and nothing I've tried have really made them go away. I think the nose strips are a waste of money, just rips off some skin but most black-heads stay so wouldn't recommend that. I'd also stay away from most of those face washes, toners, cleansers, etc. that just have really high concentrations of chemicals.
Those chemicals just strip your natural oils, make your skin super dry which as a result will cause an overproduction of even more oils to compensate. It'll mess up your skin also because the strong chemicals are huge skin irritants.
Dealing with whiteheads is easy. If you notice you have a small pimple that isn't quite at the 'whitehead stage', poke it a bit just to irritate it before bed and hopefully by the time you wake up it'll be ready for popping. Never try to pop a pimple if it's not a bit painful/white-head, as that can result in scarring though. Pop white-heads till a bit of blood is there so you know you got all of it, blot it with some rubbing alcohol and you should be good to go. :)
I use pore strips to get rid of them, scrubs never worked for me either
I used to have really bad skin problems in High School, including white heads, black heads, pimples, and worst of all: an incredibly oily face. So, I've been through a variety of products to try and control these skin problems. What ended up working best was going on Accutane for about 6 months. This is a prescription oral medication prescribed for people with severe skin problems.
One of the things that worked fairly well for me before going on Accutane, was the use of hand sanitizer (Purell) on my face. It worked for clearing pimples, as well as white heads and black heads. Just apply it to the areas where you have them, and after a couple of days or so, the white heads and black heads should start clearing. up. Swear to god, it works just as good if not better than all those expensive acne medications and other skin creams.
Weekly, you can try a salycic acid peel.
Daily, you can try a benzoyl peroxide (5%, anything over is pointless) but only use it at night. If you do it I'm the day, you'll have to apply sunscreen which will clog your pores anyway even if it was "made" for acne prone skin.
Can try a daily salycic acid scrub (1-2%). Wear less makeup or be more thorough in removing it.
Eat more fruits and vegetables (especially papaya)
Drink a lot of water. (Flushes and replenishes)
Exercise (regulates hormones)
You can go to those clinics where they pop everything on your face (blah...)
a lot of things you can do.
