Only for two years? White spots are typically a sign of trauma (like a fall), or fluorosis. I don't know what could be done about the former, other than trying to lighten the teeth in general. For the latter, you can go to the dentist and they can lightly sand in order to remove the "stain".
It's totally not a big deal, though. I have them. I used to be pretty insecure, but my teeth are naturally straight, pretty white, and I have a nice smile. Not worth getting worked up over something so minor and common.

Dental fluorosis. Either from highly fluoridated water, or to much toothpaste. It can start to turn into brown spots. Switch to fluoride free toothpaste.
