Your opinion on braces? ^-^?

I'm getting my braces soon, hopefully this week.

What do you think about them?

I honestly don't really care, I just want to know if people think their ugly or cute or ehh. Does it depend on the person?

My friends are also getting braces so I won't be alone.

They are good and really help straighten your teeth I got braces when I was 14 and had them on for two years it really is like putting your teeth in prison cause you can't eat certain foods that get stuck in between your teeth and can't eat really hard things as well. And if your worried about looks that is the least thing you will worry about when you first get your braces it's very painful not even lying I mean you will be in excruciating pain for the first couple of weeks then the pain will go away. And if you don't take care of your teeth and stay away from hard foods and foods that really get in between your teeth the brackets in your teeth could fall off and it will take even longer to get your braces taken out. Not to mention having to wear retainers after getting your braces taken off.

Retainers hurt even more than braces. I have them and I rarely wear them, oh my gosh they're one of the most uncomfortable things ever, lol.

I have to disagree babe lol when I got my braces taken off I had to wear retainers and I did for about a month and it only hurt for the first couple of days lol, but it was nowhere near painful like getting your braces put on.

Had them for 3 years, my teeth are nice and straight because of them. I enjoyed getting different colors, like red white and blue to show my patriotism. They are not as bad as headgear =DDD

Definitely depends on the person. Also different people need different types of braces and wires so that matters too. The bigger ones aren't very pretty. I have braces and I actually really like them and people say that they fit me and look really good on me. But mine are pretty small, thin wires that you can't see from a distance.

I think braces are cute. Most teens don't, but when you get older you'll probably see their charm. I mean, you're putting metal on teeth, it's kinda cool when you think about it.

I used to have them when I was about 16! They're cute, especially when you play around with the colours :)

It'll be a relief once you get rid of them though haha!

One of my friends thats love girls with braces but ya , dont matter to me ^.^i had braces its not that bad just wait until your 20s your will look hot as fuck

The majority of people have them at some point, usually they're quite endearing. I was glad to be rid of them once their work was done.
