Is it possible to still get PMS? Or would you not get that either? Cause I'm about a day late coming on my period but I'm pmsing real bad: stomach cramps, feeling sensitive, headaches and really tired.

No you wouldn't get that if you miss a period

Good Heavens you're only one day late and you're panicking already... Needlessly if I may say so.

I've sometimes gone almost a week late and always with the dreaded pms.

Please calm down, am sure nature will take it's course very soon indeed.

Sorry, meant to vote B. Yes, you can get PMS if your period is late. It has happened to me before.

@Asker -- oops never mind! Just read your question properly! Totally possible. PMS as the name suggests is 'PRE menstrual syndrome' so symptoms typically do kick in before you get your period (even if you're not aware of the bloating etc.) Maybe you're just late because of anxiety? Or if you've been working out too hard?

Even if you're on the contraceptive pill and you skip a period, you're likely to endure PMS -- without getting too science-y, its just the way the hormones fluctuate pre-menstruation that result in this.
