Sometimes when you have a desire for defecation you really don't want to go in the bathroom and get dirty... so you'd rather have a colostomy bag to avoid all this LOL

The risk of infection is very high and I don't think anyone would want to have one but if you have no choice that's a different story

I take care of seniors for a living and I had a patient who had one of these. I don't recommend them, they are gross lol.

Nope, it's more of a hassle than waking to the bathroom plus it adds risk for infection.
