Question about calories?

I have a question about calories... Say a bag of chips has 150 calories but it says serving size is 15 chips.. is the total amount of calories for the whole entire bag 150 or just 150 calories per every 15 chips you eat?

150 calories per 15 chips you eat. Usually they tell you the grams per 15 chips and you can compare that to the total mass of the bag of chips... if say you wanted to eat a whole bag of chips you would do this to figure out the total calories.

Mass of serving/mass of bag • calories per serving = total calories of bag

Just 150 calores for every 15 chips you eat. That's how they cheat and make it sound like the calories aren't that high on the label. Multiply the calories per serving by the # of servings in the bag, and you'll get the calorie count for eating the whole bag.

It's telling you the serving size is 15 chips. So it's obviously 150 calories per 15 chips. The bag even tells you how many servings a bag has. It could be about 4 or 5 servings. So if you eat the whole bag then you had way more than 150 calories

If your counting calories don't eat chips lol but 150 calories for every 15 chips u eat

it should tell you how many servings are in a bag, if not then just take it as 15 chips = 150 calories and count your chips per bag.

itll tell you mow many grams once serving size. so divide that number by the total net weight of the bag and multiply the answer by the calories per serving thats listed.

Calories is always per serving size.
