I guess yeah 1260 calories seems of course below the maintenance calories of an adult male and also with the additional workouts you are doing... you are easily burning more calories than you intake so you will eventually lose weight
The more calories you burn and less calories you intake.. more weight you will lose in a given time (I mean faster)
Former bodybuilder here, the formula to get whatever body you want is simple. To gain more weight/muscles you have to consume a whole lot more calories than your body burns plus Hard work. To lose more weight you have to consume a whole lot less calories than your body consumes. The trick is you have to make your body suffer. If you don't feel discomfort, if you don't feel pain, you are doing it wrong and you want be getting any results any time soon.
i felt pain and discomfort a little when i started, now i can eat 1000 cal a day and not be hungry, but i can't do any weight lifting because my muscles give out a lot sooner than usual due to the lack of food im guessing, only asking because i could easily eat 1200 or even less a day, but i dont wanna hurt myself.
It is not the amount of 1000 calories that you have to worry about, it is what type of 1000 calories are you ingesting. Your muscles give out I suspect due to lack of potassium (bananas) and your red blood cells are unable to transport enough oxygen to specific parts of your body due to lack of Iron in your system. There is no need to hurt yourself, but you have to follow super strict and very specific diet and have a strong discipline.
Eat something for lunch, that way you can eat dinner later. The latest being 8pm.
High protein, not many calories: tuna fish and rice.
Good for weightlifters.
