Suicides may even be concussion related.
But that's just football.
What about some of the others.
Which causes the most injuries?
Ref: Sport Science
People may laugh at the thought that soccer causes the most injuries. But the press that football is getting for concusion syndrome could easily move to soccer and dementia, I played through high school, then played club in soccer and pick up ever since.
The coaches and friends that I know who played D-1 soccer and then into the different professional soccer leagues are starting to experience serious dimentia.
Those of of who were playing at the next level down have a host of ankle, knee and shoulder injuries.
Remember there is NO protection on a soccer player and there is more contact than you think.
MMA? Anything that's actual fighting in my opinion.

Yeah for sure.
that was too obvious to include though
All professional sports cause injuries and you just wear out your body after a while. It's not really comparable to amateur sports. Injuries you get from amateur sports are not representative for professional sports. That's why you have 30 year former professional athletes get a fake knee or hip or whatever the case may be.
But statistically it's things like snowboarding or motocross that cause the most and heaviest injuries
I'd say football. But as a cheerleader nothing seems scarier than this

Their conclusion is wrestling is not fixed
It is exactly as shown
Somehow. some people, with IQs above 75, beg to differ
HHHHHHHHHHHHH
out of these opitons i think it´s soccer. football would be the logical assumption but actually soccer players just mess up their legs and feet all the time while football players only get injured once in a while.
Logical yes
Correct, no
so you have seen the statistics and know the right answer?
Of course.
In spite of that, I'm surprised it's not more common knowledge.
Last semester I took an ortho class and sports related injuries were a chapter.
so what is the actual right anwer then? ^^
Be patient
I'l post it as an update in a few days.
I just put this up and want a good sample.
ok then :)
Football for sure, then Basketball, Soccer, Bicycling, and lastly Baseball.
I played soccer for 13 years, not a single injury, besides a torn ligament in my wrist, just one month out though.
I would have to say if you count this as a sport I don't know what it's called but like rodeos when the guy gets bucked around on the bull.
Yeah that is some scary stuff.
Too many guys are no longer guys after an encounter like that.
HHHHHH
I think football cause its more rough than the rest in my opinion. You can get injured easily and in a matter of few seconds.
i got a lower back injury in horse riding almost broke my spine @crazyincalifornia
Ooowee!
My horse threw me once but I had my riding helmet on.
Still I got some dirt and rock rash on my face, shoulder, and side.
I was like 12 or so.
:((
I'd say football but any contact sport comes with a risk of serious injury.
Wrestling > Rugby > NHL > Football.
no, no, no, and no
Chess > Carom > Billiards > Truth & Dare.

None of those sports above. Rugby does.
I think of boxing and wrestling tied as the most..
Ummm... what about karate?
I have almost 6 years of Karate.
I've only had soft tissue damages
But, I mean head to toe
In spite of knockouts, I've only seen one broken leg, serious injury
I'd have to say football.
Football because there area a lot of hits
