Which type of ball hurts more when it hits you in the face? (Just a light throw, not a kick or long pass).

Ive been hit by both lol. Because my luck is bad when it comes to basketballs, footballs, soccer balls. [ at least its not bad with all balls haha] but yeah. When I got hit with a basketball, I wasn't looking and got hit in the face. And got a bloody mouth. I got hit with a soccer ball last weekend in the head because I wasn't looking again. And it didn't hurt that much. Lol. Wow I think I need to pay more in games haha

I'm going to answer on behalf of my younger brother and say basketball. He plays both sports at the varsity high school level and has been hit in the face HARD with both. The soccer ball hurt, yeah, but the basketball broke his nose. Soccer balls have a softer surface than basketballs with little puffy parts, so it doesn't hurt as much.

I grew up in a really athletic family so I've been hit in the head by pretty much everything, and a basketball definitely doesn't feel good.

But I would rather get hit in the face with a basketball than a softball...those hurt.

Since a soccer ball is created for being hit on the head and other parts of the body, I would say that a basketball would hurt more than a soccer ball.

Basketball, without a doubt. Only one of the two is even intended to be batted with the head.

I know I've been bloodied by a basketball, had my ears rung and experienced dislocated, jammed, and broken fingers. Can't say a soccer ball ever did anything like that.

For anyone who has played soccer, they'd know a strong kick to the back of a soccer ball, aimed right at someone's face, is infinitely more painful than passing a basketball to someone's face.

B-ball is harder then S-ball, as long as its not a kick vs throw B-ball will hurt more.
