Have you ever started an IV on YOURSELF?

So I am an Advanced EMT and have started countless IVs. But I decided to start one on myself (an 18 gauge). This was my first time. I accessed the vein and felt a nice pop. I noted a flashback, but I think I blew my vein upon entry and advanced the stylette too far. But nonetheless, you have to admit this was a good job for my first time sticking myself

I have not started one on myself, but I always have my classmates share sticking needles to each other. I had an 18 gauge on me before.. That shit hurts.. but regardless we've been doing 20-24 gauges. Best experience comes from hands on my friend!

Just asking the question would suffice, we didn't need a diagram.
Like a drug addict giving their story on gag and adding a picture of them jacking up on heroin, it's not appropriate or necessary.

But human beings aren't mind readers, there are psychopaths in the majority of professions because people slip through the cracks.
But from remembering you from your other accounts and you sticking yourself now, followed by stating it's just incase you want to off yourself at somepoint doesn't make it difficult to assume you are loopy in the head.

Yea I'm also a hunter and a martial artist who likes his knives, swords and other sharp objects and is trained in their use. I just don't like making a habit of sticking them in me.
