My wife has that happen from time to time , mostly in the winter months when it's cold

I do right now. Painful. Those creams not very effective on my heels.

soak them in epsom salt baths.

and us a thin lotion. creams don't penetrate as deeply.

Not cracked but my heels are very dry.
