Why do I feel sleepy almost all the time?

I feel sleepy almost all the time, even when I already got enough sleep in the night, I still feel sleepy during the day. What's the cause of this? Anyone know? Thanks

You could have sleeping disorder called Sleep Apnea it can happen in anyone
You could have low iron well very common in females cause they have
menstrual cycles. You could be depressed, over anxious , could be
your not eating enough and your blood glucose is dropping.

Does anemia can cause low blood pressure? My blood pressure fluctuates from normal to low every now and then. But even in my normal blood pressure I still feel sleepy. Well maybe I lack of iron huh? Thanks for answering anyway :)

Yeah low blood pressure abnormal low can cause you to be tired
you know they prescribe what is called Ted Hose they are support
stockings you wear on your feet and legs to help your blood pressure
but you low blood pressure can be link to sleeping disorder too

Could be anemia, hypothyroidism, product of anxiety/ depression, lack of decent sleep, poor diet/ exercise, chronic fatigue- which I doubt at your age but whatevs. Go see you PCP.

No iron (happens to many females)
No vitamins, try eating more fruits and vegetables and drink lots of water. Also you could start working out. you'll feel much better.

this happens to me too! i think if you don't get enough sleep on evenone night it makes you tired for a few more day

Eat more carbs. Carbohydrates = energy.

I hv breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner with rice, so I dont think I lack of carbs

Came here to say that. I felt sleepy and when I did an exam I had minor anemia for lack of iron. Already too care of it.

@bananatossing I think some people might assume it's a mental thing, usually it's got to do with what our diet intakes are. It could be the easiest solution (to eat red meat or take supplements).. But I'm glad you got onto it straight away
