Any vegans on here?

I dont eat a lot of meat to begin with, I'm not really a fan of it... I was just wondering what your favorite meals are...Also how in the world do you cook tofu!?

I'm vegetarian but used to be vegan for a time. It's quite tricky to make sure you're eating a balanced, nutrient rich diet. I used to eat a lot of stir fry (tofu is great with that) and things like bean patties, stuffed vegetables (loads of options with that) and do try vegan curries (easy to make and you can vary them up so much they don't get boring). I used to eat a 3 bean curry which was amazing... just need kidney beans, butter beans and haricot beans as well as curry powder, chilli powder, tumeric, tinned tomatoes, onion and garlic :) very quick to do and super cheap! In terms of the tofu. Make sure you dry it out before you cook it (use kitchen paper to squeeze out all the liquid from the block) then slice it into cubes and whack it in the frying pan :) simples! Don't cook it on high though because it only takes a few minutes to brown. It's so malleable to cook with and very hearty and filling, try soy sauce with it! Good luck!! :)

I'm vegan, but I don't really eat processed foods very often. If I do, it's in a restaurant, but at home I'm mostly raw vegan. My dinners are usually cooked though. I tried to cook tofu once, and it came out too hard and rubbery, so I'm just gonna leave it to the professionals from now on lol. I can't decide on a favourite meal... Everything is so good. I crave vegan pho the most often though.

I've been one for years. I usually marinate tofu and bake it. You can do just about anything with tofu that you do with meat. I love to make spicy rice with soy chorizo. I love the Gardein brand of meat substitutes. I make all kinds of casseroles, soups, etc. You have to learn how to cook and be creative. Yesterday, I made a yummy No Beef Stroganoff...

im not 100% vegan but I do eat vegan food, its fucking deloycious! who would've thought a vegan meatball sub could not only taste better but also be healthier than the real thing! :D

I don't think I could ever voluntarily become a Vegan. I just love to eat meat. However, I have tried some very delicious Vegan dishes at this place called "Native Foods Café" I always get a ranch burger and it taste like chicken, possibly even better!
