Do low calorie diets guarantee weight loss?

I have been on a low carb diet for the last 70 days and tomorrow I am going to start eating low calorie instead. I want to know if I will continue to lose weight once I stop eating low carbs. I have a lot of leftover food in the house that I need to get rid of before my 2 week vacation so I will be eating leftover soybeans, milk, green peas, eggs and fish for the next 9 days.
