Gum problem? Help?

I have a gum infection or something. It hurts and it's tender, and I looked at it last night and it looked like a piece of my gum is partly off and growing like it's gonna grow over my teeth. I don't know what it is or what the cause is. But it's been hurting kinda a lot, it's not improving, I can't eat on that side, and I do have braces which makes flossing extremely difficult. And I'm not supposed to get my braces off until March 26th next year.

You should go see a dentist asap to have that checked out. The only gum problem I have is gum moving away from a tooth. Which I already know I need to have any extra gum in my mouth taken out and put of the area that is receding away. Not sure if they would have to take the gum growing over off. I'm not really a dentist so you should go see one to give u to correct answer.

I talked to my dentist last night and he made a prescription and I have the antibiotics now. But we made an appointment for 9am but I ended up missing it. And last night was pretty tough after I talked to him

It's like a blood blister. It can be due to not brushing properly or gingivitis. Go to your dentist.

A blood blister? I brush my teeth twice a day for like 5 minutes each. Must not be enough. I had gingivitis when I was 9 but I don't remember much besides bleeding while brushing. I can call them at any time and get an extra appointment?

Of course you should see a medical professional, but in the mean time, swishing salt water around your mouth and massaging your gums can do wonders.

Oh wow. I'm gonna get taken away later and go I don't know where.. maybe jail but I scheduled an appointment and my dentist prescribed antibiotics and I'm supposed to see him at 9 am but who knows at this point. I hit my foster mom in CVS pharmacy

Well in jail you can get access to medical care so you should be fine.

You can self diagnose anything by doing enough research in it, but as far as treating it... you don't have any experience in oral hygiene. It would be best to at least ask a dentist.

The things that came up on Google were Gingival disease or something like that and Periodontal disease. They're both gum diseases but the periodontal makes more sense
