Hi, I ran into an ex. After I ended it she would have panic attacks and harass me with msgs. She would tell me she thought I only wanted her for sex because she was worthless. This went on for a while and I ignored her because I couldn't handle it. She came up to me, over a year later, and apologized. She said she battled depression for years and that left her with a low self esteem. She couldn't get better because she had inflammation in her head. She said she fought hard and I was the first person she pushed away because of her depression. She asked for me to give her a chance without her depression. Does her story make sense? She says she just wants to be friends, and doesn't want her depression to ruin what could have been a great friendship.
