TLDR Source: I'm a BS-degree-carrying, actively researching biologist.
Longer explanation: Not only are GMOs the best thing to happen to marketing since the "Zero Trans-fat" label, but they are touted as the worst thing to happen to food since preservatives. Most people can't even tell you what the acronym stands for, much less what it actually is.
Genetically Modified Organisms are literally 100% of what you see in a grocery store. Walk into ANY produce aisle anywhere, and the things you're picking out are organisms that we've bred & modified (using basically every method under the sun, not just made by scientists in white lab coats) to suit our dietary needs. Ever had corn on the cob? Yep, that's a GMO. Ever had a an apple bigger than 4" in diameter? GMO. Ever eaten a tomato you grew yourself using all-natural fertilizers and zero sprays? GMO. Yes, you heard me. GMO. Those seeds were from a GMO strain of tomatoes. How abut soy? Ever had soy-based anything? GMO. Ever eaten a banana? Was it 90% seeds? No? GMO. You think cucumbers are naturally the size of a can of hairspray? Nope, GMO. Ever eaten a fruit/vegetable that does NOT grow in your climate, yet survived an interestingly-long journey from it's actual climate (longer than it should've stayed ripe for)? GMO. Ever seen a field full of veggies that the farmer did NOT have to spray with pesticides, despite having many predatory insects in the area? GMO.
GMOs are ANY organism we have modified in ANY way (genetic engineering) to possess genes not naturally found in that organism.
Oh, and by the way, your purebred dog? GMO.
I could literally go on about this topic for hours, but I'm going to stop here and hope people understand the concept.
dont laugh. cuz i know it makes no sense. but it makes sense to me. haha!
hot cheetohs.
they are super high in sodium and fats and calories, yes...
BUT u poop them right now so it feels like ur lighter at the end of the day after eating awhole bag :/
I told u it makes no sense... Haha
Milk straight from a cow (then chilled) and eggs.
I say milk straight from the cow, because people think it's filled with all these horrible bacteria, etc., but if a cow is naturally fed and milked regularly, that milk's bacteria is actually very good for your body and immune system. It comes with antibodies and many probiotics.
Eggs have a bad rep due to cholesterol, but eggs are also packed with vitamins and minerals that help lower the risk of heart disease.
I second this lmao eggs got s bad rep, there has been a study that shows two groups both training exactly the same for a period and one group had 3 whole eggs a day and the other didn't, the group that had the eggs gained 3x the muscle mass of the other group I that period

Peanut Butter. Its considered bad for you but it contains healthy fats that help you lose weight.
I guess salmon is another food I think is perfectly health raw if it is fresh out of the freezer. Some people think Salmon is bad for you.
Avocado is also criticized for its high fat content and high calorie content but it is good for you.
I guess people say McDonalds salads are bad but without dressing, they are actually quite healthy and contain 30 grams of protein.
McDonald's salad are stupid unhealthy no matter the way u put it, packs with artificial flavours and sodium
salmon is absolutely not unhealthy for you. I know that people say the farm raised fish is unhealthy because of the chemicals in water, hormones to promote growth and generally negative aspects of farm hatcheries. but wild (ocean caught) salmon is absolutely a healthy food. great protein, omega-3, fish oils, etc
Everything you eat will have a positive and negative effect on you. With the advent of modern cooking, anything unhealthy can be converted to something healthy. You just have to know your limits and not over eat. Besides, one man's meat is another man's poison.
Personally I think burgers and pizzas are given a bad rep. But as long as you eat it the right way and in limit, it won't harm you.
Too much grease is just bad! Which is why I stick to Subs and Sandwiches.

Subs and sandwiches is considered bad, too... We just can't win!!!
Cereals. Their sugar levels aren't atrocious or the worst I've seen and some are completely packed with vitamins and minerals.
Pasta and white rice.
Pasta is considered bad due to the carbs in it. White rice because it's drained of nutrients and you digest it fast. So to much of it will make you gain weight.
Yet they are still kind of healthy so it's like no matter how healthy something is. It's still unhealthy :(
Fries! I love french fries and since they're potatoes i try to convince myself they aren't that bad (:
fruits
i am told it would make one fat
butter and beef
