Yeah that sounds good. Both are great for energy. You would get fat, carbs and protein as well. I would personally choose walnuts because your body can convert some of their fat into omega 3s. I think peanuts are a healthy choice too but there are some that think our bodies aren't evolved to digest legumes (peanuts). Raisins are really healthy though and a nice choice for energy.

its natural, yeah go for it. but not too much, some people go overkill with peanuts and fuck themselves over.

If you're trying to lose weight, I wouldn't eat anything before a run. I usually drink a glass of warm honey water in the morning on an empty stomach. Then I go for an 8 mile run. I come home and have a high carb/protein breakfast. But im not doing it for weightloss.

Peanuts are better as post workout as they have proteins which your body needs for recovery after the workout.
For pre workout id advise honey. It gives instant burst of energy which your body will need to start you on your workout

A piece of fruit and some almonds or peanut butter (like, a tablespoon) is probably better. Or fruit and a piece of cheese?

PEANUTS for sure are not for loosing weight they are for gaining weight, they've got a lot of fats in it. Same with Craisins a lot of carbohydrates. I would pick more vegetables.

I'd go for walnuts or brazil nuts instead.
