Why can't I sleep?

My sleep cycle just refuses to get in line nowadays, why is this?

There are tons of reasons why people have trouble sleeping. For me, the times that I've struggled are when I've really messed up my sleep schedule because I've stayed up really late working, gotten up early and then napped during the day. Something else, that I think affects me is worry. If I can't stop worrying about something, I won't be able to sleep because of the constant thought of those things. So, to help with that, I will make a list of things before bed that I worry about and I tell myself that I will worry about those things tomorrow. But neither of these may be your problems. What do you think?

I totally fucked up my sleeping cycle.. I go to sleep almost every day around 6-7 -.- that's just messed up.

but my lectures started today again so soon it will be over :(

@Yumix i sleep like till 10am.. and I don't stop doing stuff like kickboxing, reading, watching tv shows, spending time on a dirt bike, swimming.. the point is my days are filled with activity and i'm not tired at all - well, only when I'm sick or have a headache or pms, that's only when i'm tired.. lol it's been like this for the past 4-5 months :/

lol seems like you are a small powerhouse ;)
I'd probably feel like I'd die after a couple of days with only 3-4 hours of sleep. guess being more active would help me too, if I get up at 13h it will take me usually at least 1-2hrs until I don't feel very tired anymore and I'm more productive...
but going very late to bed seems to be in my genes, it's the same for my brother and sister and ever my mom goes quite late (3-4). always felt like I'm nocturnal

I voted A), and as a direct result, too much blue light which pushes your circadian rhythm to the right.

Hehe.. You are horny and your hormones are kicking in puberty problem, hard to sleep until you jerk off, use dopamine generated by your system after jerking off as a temporary way to relax and go to sleep... Or get something more passionate distract yourself, listen good slow music

Many reasons

-For one, unnatural light such as cells phones lower your melatonin (sleep chemical in brain)
- unconsisten sleep cycles.. Try and sleep before 12, the body gets the best rest that way 8-9 hours later

If its really bad, try something natural.. start with low doses of melatonin supplements

Go to the store and buy a drug free medicine called Melatonin it helps regulate your sleep cycle, very good for sleep, it dissolves in your mouth and taste like candy & it's not expensive...
