I've had my nose stud in for a while and I took it out the other the like 3 days ago and its sore and it stinks really bad, is it infected?

No I don't think its infected, basically what smells is your skin.. whenever you have a piercing it will smell maybe not as strongly but it's in your nose so.. the chances of you smelling it is strong! It's basically a build up of dead skin cells (which you shed all the time) but you have a hole in your nose so therefor the build up will be there instead of just flaking off!
