Life is full of "should i be doing this? is this good for me? is this the right decision?" Everything from what we're eating, who we're spending our time with down to the car we choose can have doubts. However... exercising is always a positive investment! Obviously we're leaving out the extreme cases where it becomes problematic...
To each their own but here's me:
- I do crossfit and the competitive side of it is what drives me. I love the challenges to overcome and look forward to getting better at all the movements. During wods, i look around the room and know which guy i am going to be trying to pace... This makes things fun and i get a work out!
I also play Tennis and mtn bike as often as time permits. Love just getting out and going.

I think others go because they want to get healthier, improve their physical appeal, or train for competition or sport.
I go just to get stronger.
I go to the gym because if I don't take care of my body, it won't take care of me. Plus I really do need my body to be healthy and strong for the activities I'm post passionate about such as dancing, boxing, rock climbing, and biking.
I go to the gym because it makes me happy. Its a way in which i helps me boost my self confidence and reach targetrs that i never thought i was capable of but most of all, motivation.

For me, weightlifting is just a secondary sport, to help out with my performance in BJJ, Muay Thai, Karate and Boxing. That's why my workout is VERY different from people who train from a bodybuilding perspective, which -although valid to their sport - isn't very usefull in combate.
I go because it makes me stronger, look better, and have a more efficient immune system.
Like many people, I went to increase sex appeal at first, but my reasons evolved into more pure motivation, it's for myself now
To feel better, look better, be more attractive, be stronger.
I do it because I need to strengthen my back. I have a muscle and skeletal problem. So I go to the gym to relieve my spine from the pain and to strengthen it
Keep in shape and keep strong to protect those I love and the country I love.
I wish to be as big as an American.
I wanna be in a healthy , attractive shape for my husband.
I don't workout. but when i will. the reasons will be to stay fit.. and healthy.. :)
Most people I know including myself go because we play sport and have to keep our bodies in good condition. Plus the ladies don't mind haha.
