I don't know if it's a psychological thing or what, but I always find that eating a banana or two when I feel the onset of my cramps makes them almost non-existent. The fact that I'm also on the pill could be a factor though.

Midol works the best for me, but I need to make sure I eat something right before. It has a ton of caffeine in it too so it sucks if I have to fall back asleep, but it makes the pain disappear like magic for me if I take it early enough.

None of those work for me anymore. The only thing that really works is sleep.

That's rotten luck. Have you ever gone on birth control? I'm told that's one of the only things to be done for severe cramping.

I got a depo shot when I was hospitalized but that's it. I don't like the side effects of most BC.

I've heard that too, but I have also heard that it can make cramps worse. No one knows what works, honestly.

I always go with pamprin because in the past Advil and ibeprofin haven't worked, but I heard that Motrin is supposed to be good and that's actually what they give women who just have birth at te hospital.

I only take ibuprofen. But lately I've been finding that eating a banana is much more effective, and works more quickly and lasts longer.

Well yeah.. cuz I see my friends having really bad days.. some get all burned up.. and can't even go out of the house.. I do feel pain sometimes but it is nothing intolerable..
