Is it okay to change your sleeping time during the weekdays?

I want to sleep when I get home from school for 8 hours then do homework and study up until it time for school. I can never find the time to have enough sleep. Is it okay to do this? Right now for example if I sleep for 8 hours, I would wake up at 3 a. m. and do my homework and study until it is time for school again. If I finish my homework early then I will go back to sleep.
