Coming from the land that created yoga i'd tell u not to use a book. always find a trainer but if u can't then rely on videos or something similar. Also start slow dont try to do a difficult pose before ur ready or u might end with sprains, bruises or if really lucky fractured bones.

I am sure you could get some do it yourself yoga DVDs or something but your best bet would probably be to find a yoga class at college or a gym. Just make sure you are near the front of the class so you don't come off as a creepy pervert.
I love following along with YouTube tutorials. My favourite tutorials are from BananaBlondie108 and she and her husband have their own website where they coach people back to health. I love it.
