Even when I'm not hungry I crave.
After a meal, I always have a sudden urge to get some desert.
How can I get over this sugar addiction? Is anyone succeeded in giving up surgery food?
Sugar is addictive and people always crave sugary foods. Food companies purposely put sugar in their food products for that precise reason so they can sell more of their product.
You simple have to try and lower your intake overtime so you don't consume so much of it. You actually don't require any sugar for your diet.
Sugar also causes health problems including diabetes which has risen in the population by a huge percentage since a modern western diet has way too much sugar in all the food. Even foods that don't require any sugar in it have it like bread. A soda bottle is basically half sugar. You can't tell since its liquid but fill half a bottle with sugar and it's the same and you can see visually how much sugar is actually in it. Even a can of Milo which is supposedly a healthy food is almost half sugar as well.
Just start by eating less sugary foods and go for more natural products rather than packaged ones. That way you know there isn't any added sugar. But you can also read the nutrition label to see how much sugar is in it.
I hardly consume any sugar but I do indulge sometimes because it can taste good. But I can definitely tell when something has too much sugar in it. Like I don't like cakes or sodas or anything with a high sugar content since it tastes way too sugary for my taste.
I too am have a similar problem, I used to buy twenty dollars worth of candy a week.
I ended up quitting cold turkey deciding only to have candy on special occasions,
I bought 100 blowpops to share with my family and they lasted ten days. I am doing better and you can too
I think you mean sugary not surgery food.. You obviously are deficient in the ability to pump serotonin into your brain cells and that is causing you to not feel full. Without seeing a doctor this is difficult. If there is a GNC near you I would pay a visit to them and ask an experienced person as to what they have to offer. Many things are offered but whatever they are they say they are 5-HTP supplements. They are precursors to the making of serotonin which allows more serotonin to enter the brain
It's not sugar, it's the combination of sugar and fat, that is so addicting.
next time try eating a spoonful for sugar for dessert and see how much you want to of that.
Or better even, make foods you know, but from fruits. Such as banana nice cream

Start with one sugary food at a time. Go one month without candy, then the next month go with candy and ice cream, and build on it like that. That's what I'm trying, and for 4 months its been working.
I've also trained myself into loving almonds... (3 weeks without food in the house except for almonds, beans, rice, and eggs...) Not that it relates - I guess I just learned to crave other food.
Don't try to cut those things out entirely. You may have to have a go to that is healthy and tasty that you can substitute so that those things become a once in awhile item.
Try to either wean yourself off by cutting back on it, or choose healthier sweet foods like fruit or dark chocolate with a high % of cocoa.
Make the healthier version of them.
I think you can try out homemade ice creams with fruits.
As for sugar, perhaps substitute honey instead.
eat a fruit instead of a sweet. Allow yourself to have one less often
Yeah me too I'm trying to cut back/eliminate them. I've been having good luck by eating strawberries and cantaloupe
I don't know, but I have a sexual thought addiction. I can't seem to shake sexual thoughts out of my mind. I'm always horny because of it.
Okay lol good luck with that man
Thanks. I need all the luck I can get.
saccharine or another 'sweetener'
Well sugar stores fat in so there's that..
Yeah so you eat sugary food?
Follow a bland diet.
