+1 yI try really hard to stay away from cane sugar. I still eat vsugar" in fruits and so forth. But not in honey, came sugar, maple syrup, etc. Once I stopped eating cane sugar I lost quite a bit of weight & had more energy. There's a lot of alternatives that you can use like fruit sugars to make desserts that taste really good. And it's kind of fun to learn how to make your own desserts and candies and so forth. It takes a lot of determination but it gets easy the more you stay away from it. After the third week, you don't miss it much, at least that was the case for me.

I think it helps if you don't try to go cold turkey and just try to start cutting down. For example, if you love milky chocolate, you can start working towards darker chocolate with higher Cacao... maybe starting at something like 75% Cacao all the way to 90%. The darkest types are quite bitter but can still hit that chocolate/sweet craving with much less added sugar and fewer calories.
Also, I think it helps to prioritize sugar in liquids since liquid calories tend to be the least satiating (you might want to eat just as much even if you have a sugary beverage with your food). So, for example, if you like to add a packet or two of sugar in your coffee, maybe cut it down to half, and get used to that, then cut it down again by half, and get used to that, until you're okay with taking your coffee without any sugar.20 Reply
Dont buy sugary stuff. Rots your teeth and insides. Makes You lose energy, makes you grogy, makes you fat, it's just not worth it. Every time you have a urge, try drinking a glass of cold water I myself I'd I bug something sugary I'll destory it in 2 days. So when I do my groceries, I just don't buy it. I zoom by lol. Then when I'm at home and have urges, I have nothing to eat that's sugary and it passes. The longer you hold out the better Yoh end up controlling it. Just have it like once a week.

But fruits are okay right? I have an addiction to frozen bananas lol
- +1 y
I don’t I’ll let a banana a day or a banana and a half
while i cannot convince you to let it go, maybe in moderation cause the sugar substitutes are horrible tasting. have it sparingly cause if you totally cut it out you will loose your mind and then binge on it, dont cut it out entirely. just restrict the amount and frequency of it in your diet

Good job but if you want to do something better for yourself you don't need to run you need to walk at a really fast pace 30 minutes a day for 30 days your body all your whole body will turn right up every part of your body will tone up but ask me 3 minutes today and has to be a walking really fast well at a fast pace put it that way
I stopped consuming added sugar for 2 months.. I didn't see any difference in my body or skin, but I'm pretty sure it was because I was already dieting and intermittent fasting.
I think if you're diet isn't great before and you start it it'll improve your energy and skin20 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yLet go of your sugar? Who is he? Is there a problem with how he acts? Seriously, sugar is clearly bad for your body, and cutting way back on sugar is good for anyone. Sugar interferes with good nutrition, because it has empty calories, and tends to make us overweight. Sugar also tends to make us less alert.

Another thing build self control. Which is most difficult to build lot of times.

Another thing you can do is identify trigger and change go to action. So you feel to consume sugary food go for walk instead. Or replace with any good habit for that sake.
- +1 y
Apply 5 minite rule if you cannot get yourself to walk.
- +1 y
Say I am just going to walk for 5 minutes just 5 minutes that's not too long, is it?
