What do you guys think?
Should I go to the gym?
What do you guys think?
Gyms exist for a reason. If you wanna loose fat, you need to eat right, excercise just speeds the process up dramatically, if you just wanna loose fat you could just diet but it would take fucking ages. Exercise too and barely as long
Also just eating dosent gain and tone muscle, you can only do that at a gym.
That's utter fucking bullshit from a liberal British newspaper infamous for spouting bullshit, lies and horrendous articles and in this instance trying to make lazy fucks feel better they don't workout, don't believe that bullshit.
Look, when I left school at 15 I was obese, went to the gym for a year and lost damn near 60lbs, there is absolutely no fucking way I would have achieved that by just eating salads and shit.
If you wanna loose weight, it's not as simple as just eating something healthy here and there and buying into some magic "detox tea" or some shit (by the way they do fuckall, they're just rammed with laxatives, the weight you loose is just poo weight).
You gotta earn your weight loss the hard way.
I'm not saying you can't loose weight just by dieting, but if you take 2 people and both loose 50lb, 1 by diet and other by diet + exercise, the exercise one will do it Waaaaayyyyy quicker, will be MUCH MUCH fitter and healthier and will be stronger and more toned.
Weight loss in and of itself is entirely a result of calorie deficit. What exercise does is it allows you to be able to lose weight while eating more food, keep your cardiovascular system healthy, and be able to maintain as much lean mass as you can through weight loss.
Yes, I agree that eating is more important.
You can burn 700 calories from a run, but if you spend your day eating soda, pizza, candy, donuts, etc, your workouts will do nothing. You will still end up gaining weight.
Eating healthy is really important but so is going to the gym to stay in shape (or as per the quote) losing weight.

Don't take any notice of the link you posted, it's bullshit. Diet is very important, maybe 75% of it, but just eating right and not working out you won't get the same result, and it will take a lot longer to lose weight. Only lazy people would look at that article and try to use it as an excuse not to exercise, but they're only cheating themselves in doing so.
who told you this? this is totally wrong.
exercise does more than eating. but eating is essential and exercise isn't
exercise promotes a lot of weight loss you just need to know what your doing and do ur own research
in terms of weight loss eating isn't as important as exercise unless you have a slow metabolism
Where did you get that information? It is deaed wrong changing your eating habbits will only work for people who are way to lazy/busy to actually go get exercise. A small tip if you burn more than your eating your going to lose weight.
haha that is funny. They are studying the link between lack of exercise and obesity. Not how going to the gym helps you to get fit and lose some weight. it has nothing to do with someone who is fat or obese trying to lose wieght.
what the hell are you quoting?
exercising is burning calories which is meat and fat on your body
everyone should be working out
our bodies aren't designed for sitting 6 hours a day
it says excersise alone.
if you burn 500 calories but eat a suplus of 1000 calories, you'll gain weight.
i m a trainer. if you want real advice message. i hlped girls lose weight
3500 calories is a pound of human fat.

When you go to the gym you have more control of what you want to achieve. Eating is important but its just as important as exercise. And also having muscle is important too! The stronger you are the more you can achieve!
You might actually want to look at a more accurate article from a good source instead of a newspaper lol.
Actually do you know the difference between "losing weight" and "losing fat"?
If you want to lose weight which is just what you see on the scale then by all means just eat healthy.
But if you actually want to lose body fat and look better then you might want to go to the gym combined with eating healthier.
Starvation= bad health.
Burning more calories via exercise than you eat = weight loss.
In other Daily Mail news, ILLEGAL MUSLIM POC MIGRANTS WILL TAKE YOUR JOB AND EAT YOUR CHILDREN WITH THE BLESSING OF THE EU. WHY ISN'T THE GOVERNMENT LISTENING
Eating right is 70% of weight loss but you still want the body to be strong and firm when the weight does come off. Also I mean more calories burned is more calories burned. there is just no reason not to go to the gym.
you eat less to lose weight. you go to the gym-or work out anywhere- to gain strength and contour you body.
deit is most important thats true but either way fat or no fat the gym makes you healthy
Exercise and diet go hand in hand. To be healthy and a nice fit body, you have a well balanced diet and absolutely not give up on exercise. Neither is more important than the other.
Exercise promotes weight loss, so does diet
Both are critical to your health, so do both
God most basic things have to be overcomplicated bc people dont want to do it lol
You don't necessarily have to go to the gym. I don't understand why people have to go to the gym when they exercise. You can just run outside and also work out at home.
I do agree that eating is important in terms of losing weight, but I'm not sure that it's more important than working out. If anything, they are equally important to losing weight.
Your diet is a HUGE component in weight loss but you should always exercise anyway
It is true that eating has a much more significant impact on your health than exercise. But still need to exercise.
Yes, exercising is good for you, it will tone you up and help you lose weight.
Exercise and dieting are key contributes in losing weight, which is why a diet should be supplemented with a decent resistance and cardio training program.
both work together
the more muscle the less fat you have
