I'm at home with my older sister and her stomach is hardening, like real bad and mild pain and we read that they are called "braxton- hicks contractions" and her doctor isn't answering, and she's worried that she might give birth sooner than expected. Her due date is the 17 of March. Does anybody know about this?

Braxton-hicks don't usually mean that labour is going to start, so I wouldn't worry too much. You can get them at any time and they can continue right up until labour and it's totally normal. Here's some people talking about them:

You can look up more information by asking Google 'does braxon hicks signify early labour?' :) It's a good idea to go to the doctor about anything you're concerned about but in this case, I don't think you should worry too much about it when you can't reach the doctor. She's not experiencing anything unusual.
