Asking for my friend. If a girl has unprotected sex 3 days before her period and uses a contraceptive gel. Her period is 3 days late and only sees spotting so far but no actual period, can she be pregnant?

Rule of thumb is that ovulation happens around two weeks +/- prior to getting your period, so most likely she is not, and even less risk/chance with a contraceptive-anything. I would never worry about a "late period" unless it was more than a week late, the human body is odd

Most likely not. This form of contraceptive is 70% effective in preventing pregnancy. Was there another form of contraceptive used? Or just the gel?
