Truffles and caviar. Although I've heard caviar just tastes like salt. But I'm very curious as to how truffles taste. Rich people food. I just want to know why they're so expensive, really.

Kobe beef would be a good one, too. Or the puffer fish. Nothing says excitement like eating a food that could kill you if prepared incorrectly.

Mmmm. Oh. Some bonafide sushi would be great, too. All I've had is like kroger sushi, and it still tasted amazing. I can't imagine how good the real stuff must be.

I've always wanted to try "Fugu" or Japanese puffer fish. The fish is poisonous and only licensed, trained chefs are allowed to prepare it. Because of the risks involved, it is illegal to serve it to the Emperor of Japan.

lol, I know someone -- no, not me -- who went to serendipity with a baseball cap pulled down real low, ordered that thing (with a meal), ate it, let a few days pass, then called the credit card company and claimed the card had been stolen.
it totally worked... lol. eh, I'm sure the restaurant's profit margin wasn't hurt too bad

@ShayanMortazavi1 Well, to be fair, the guy was pissed at the restaurant, for some instance of epically poor customer service.
I don't remember the details, but, something along the lines of, he'd made a reservation for some sort of special occasion, and they'd just lost the reservation and just didn't accommodate him at all (and were even sort of rude or snobbish about it, to boot -- this guy is pretty nice, in general).
So, he decided to hit 'em where it counts -- in the bottom line.

Dude has an Amex Black card, so, not exactly the kind of customer that a credit-card company wants to lose over a sum as small as $1000. (I mean, that's a big amount for a restaurant, but, in terms of an Amex Black card, that's peanuts.)

I want to try jackfruit really bad, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere were I live. I've been told it tastes like juicy fruit gum and everyone who has tried it was always freaking out over how good it is, so I'm super stoked to try it.
