Why isn't my medication working?

I have been using allergy medicine for months now and it's just not working i even switched to a different one to see and this ones not working either? Sinus problems run in my family and that's why im sensitive to pollen and other environmental allergens. I am so depressed and sick of these allergies they ruined my summer last year and it seems they will ruin it again this year...

First of all you need to be seeing your allergist if you're still more miserable than usual. And it doesn't matter how many antihistamines you take if you're still going out and doing silly things like mowing the lawn in the morning.

Hve you talked to your doctor about nasal sprays or neti pots? Those seriously make me functional this time of year. You can also talk with your allergist about switching from like Claritin to Allegra or whatever and seeing if you get better results.
