Should I go for my morning run after hopping out of bed and drink these when I get back, or before I run?
Also, what is a better weight loss protein - egg whites or salmon? Maybe I should switch every other day. Yesterday was salmon and broccoli.
There are minute differences between fasted cardio and non-fasted cardio. Those differences are easily overwhelmed by exercise intensity. So my -strong- advice around timing of food vs. exercise is to time your food/beverage consumption so you feel good exercising. If you feel -better- running after the coffee, then you will run a little quicker and that matters FAR more then whether you're doing fasted cardio or not. If you feel better with an empty stomach do that.
You probably notice the caffeine more than the fat, it is a mild stimulant and performance enhancer, so i'd -suspect- having one or both of the tea or coffee first might help.
The metabolic difference between salmon and egg whites for fat loss is... like seriously forget about it. Eat a mixture of food sources to gain the benefits of the other nutrients. Salmon is going to take longer to digest than egg whites.
Wake up in the morning and have a glass of water and then go for your run. Running on an empty stomach will force your body to use itself as fuel which will result in weight loss over time. Your body will not use muscle as fuel do not worry. After your run replenish yourself with those drinks of yours and breakfast.
Maybe ask a dietician?
But I think you should have water before the run and then when you get back have your drinks in-between
Before you run so you are hydrated, though don't do it right after drinking them and wait 20 minutes.

depends if you do fasted training or not
Egg whites and salmon are both good for you.
Do the drinks after your run that much fluid before may cause you to need a bathroom break during said run
Some before run some after you need to stay hydrated...
Eat the whole egg the yoke is rich with vitamin b 12

Actually at your age you should not worry about chloresteral.. If you are active and run or exercise you need protean.. That little bit of chloresteral won't hurt you...
