What should I do I'm scared?

I went to the minute clinic at drug store to see a nurse. I couldn't get into my doctors office.
I had my tongue tingling. I thought it was the Prilosec I was just prescribed for my GERD.
The nurse said it was just food allergy an id be fine. She then checked my eyes with a flashlight and said I have a ring around my eye. It looks like it might be glaucoma an I should get it checked out. I'm terrified. I don't want to go to the doctor and get bad news. I usually don't go to doctors or the hospital. I'm trying to go to graduate school. I'm studying for an entrance exam. I don't have time for this. I don't know what to do. No one in my family has glaucoma. Only a great aunt. But that's not immediate family. Not my parents grandparents or great grandparents. She said its hereditary. Well I couldn't inherent it from my great aunt. I don't know what to do. I'll never go to the doctor again. They're always trying to ruin your life.

The Sooner you Go, the Sooner you Will... Know.
Whatever the doctor Might find, can be diagnosed Early and be Treated as well.
My own mom has glaucoma, and Takes drops for this.
Don't be scared here, dear, be thankful for Someone professional enough in the First Place to have looked at your Face.

Go to the doctor and have it checked out. Do you want to become blind? Because that's what's going to happen if you don't go to the doctor and let it get worse. They can help you if something is wrong.

The key word here is *might* it very well may not be glaucoma.
