Yes, and my teeth are very tight together. Food can get stuck in a way that starts to irritate my gums if I don't floss it out.
You have to wiggle the floss gently and let it slide down. Even if there's hardly any gap, the gentle back and forth motion will let the floss slide through.
Most importantly, it's easy to break the floss when you try to get it back out, so again gently rock it back and forth and don't pull aggressively and let it slide back up.
Don't kind of just push it down in a straight fashion or it can damage your gums. It helps if the floss is waxed.
this should help
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFkj8Vjr-l0If you do not have a small gap between your teeth then don't floss there (unless there is food that is stuck in between). It's actually good to have your teeth in contact.
Every single day. I have a tooth that really needs a filling, so food gets trapped there often. The more you use floss, the easier it gets.

I have crooked teeth; the dentist told my mom when I was a little baby that I only needed braces if the teeth would become uncomfortable for me, unfortunately that never happened; so I still have crooked teeth; not one of those british-teeths-when-you-smile crooked, but still crooked enough that I can't use a floss, so I just brush my teeth twice every day.. and so far so good. Have no reason to change my dental hygiene
I'm going to move to Montana and grow me some dental floss...
I don't but dental floss is very thin, and teeth do move slightly when pushed so you can floss between them. Studies have shown though that people who floss generally don't see any benefit. People who are flossed by dentists though do, just most people don't floss right, you have to press really hard like you're trying to grind your tooth away
no i don´t xD toothbrush has gotta be enough. i mean i don´t smell mad from my mouth so i leave the rest to the dentist xD
also it makes my gums bleed every fricking time.
You need to do it more often. The bleeding could be from tartar. Tartar can start forming between your teeth if you don't floss.
@ThisSentenceIsFalse no it´s because the gap between my teeth is too small but gets a little bigger towards the base so i have to push a lot and then on the last bit it hits the gums hard so that i hurt myself every time. besides tartar forms really fast even if i floss, so i have to see the dentist for regular cleanup anyways.
the dentists told me this can be due to your saliva composition and can´t be changed. some people just have bad luck with that.
Have you tried wiggling it in? Like not just ramming it in between your teeths.
@ThisSentenceIsFalse dude I'm not a spastic xD sure I tried that but I don't have an hour for brushing my teeth every day.
I do sometimes. It can be hard if your teeth are too close together.
No I don't. I know that I should
Yeah I do. It just slides between them
I'm lazy; so, I use the floss pick
No, but I wish I was better at using it.
