I doubt that it is correct to say that women have a faster heart beat. The rate at which the heart works is determined by fitness and the demand on the body at any particular time.
Women do have hearts and lungs that are 10 per cent smaller than those of a man of the same size. Their brains are also 10 per cent smaller.
