Do you have or do know anyone with Crohn's disease?

i was diagnosed in July of 1991. I was very sick and had to stay a month in the hospital. Please tell me how you cope.

I know that it runs in my family as my uncle has it and many others do too! They dos ruffle on a daily basis from it but I have heard from them that as long as they watch their diet for specific things then they are fine!

I knew someone who had it. The most important thing I remember him doing was gluten free food (and he was very good at baking it)

Are you on immune suppressant medicine?

Yes, my main medication currently is Mercatopurine (AKA 6-MP) which is an immuonosuppressive drug.

I'm on Imuran. I am currently not on steroids. I hate being on steroids

I hate steroids too, makes my face round and gives me a lot of acne. Right now I'm still on one (prednisone) but my doctor is slowly decreasing it until I can hopefully finally get off it 😊

I have learned how to deal with my joint pain... gets lots of exercise

I exercise almost daily since I was diagnosed and I feel like it helps make me feel good too
