Any tips for a beginner boxer?

I will be practicing with my brother until I can afford to go to a gym.

Know the different punches, jab, hook uppercut etc. Know the combo names and what they mean like for example a 'one two'

Move your feet when you punch, step with every punch, turn your hips. To put weight behind those punches :)

Don't punch at your target, punch through your target

Know how to block each punch
Know how to counter each punch

Try out different stances that might be easier (but that's prooooooooobably better to wait for a pro to help you xD)

Don't forget to breath

ok,,,, in boxing, the most important thing is your cardio... you can be the fastest puncher and the hardest puncher, but if you can't breath, you can't punch so start running A LOTTTTTTT. Secondly most important thing is defense,, if you can't defend yourself and you get hit too much, your trainer is going to make you leave because he doesn't want you to get hurt.. if you have ant questions, please message me privately

mix in sprints with your long distance jogs,, do a 1 mile warmup (try to do the mile in 6:30), then do either 4 one hundred yard sprints, or do 10 fifty yard sprints

Jump a lot of rope and go on runs for footwork and endurence. When u practice it striking always use proper technique and try to stay relax. Tension will actually make u more tired and take away from it power. Also always remember to stretch

breathe, stay calm, and don't let your focus get too narrow.

Improve your visual reaction time. Be consistently under 200ms, even better if you can get consistently below 170ms.

I used to box when I was a kid and the first thing my father who was training me taught me was to smile at your opponent when you get hit, even if it really hurts.

For boxing is not only about skill and fitness but also the mental battlle
