Do I have tumor?

I'm 15 My left breast is hurting since yesterday and my aunt has a brain tumor my mom thinks that I have tumor too we will go to hospital tomorrow but I'm curious ıs ıt possible at this age? my friend has on her feet so I guess ıt is can this be anything else? my breasts never hurt before ı got my period but can be the cause of the hurting? does your only one breast hurt before you got your period or not?

have you given yourself a breast exam? i mean that's the first step. to feel for a lump

it's rather alarmist to presume that because a relative has cancer that you have cancer. especially at your age breast cancer seems rather unlikely.

but regardless. just feel the breast that hurts (although tumors rarely hurt) and feel for a lump. if you find a random lump then go to your doctor.

you shouldn't go to a hospital without conducting your own breast exam and then going to your doctor.

I did but I couldn't feel a lump but my mom wouldn't let me just stya like this she is worried about ıt she says my aunt had that kind of hurting at her body before she find out she had a brain tumor and I think ıt's ırrelevant but I think ıt's just good to go to doctor

well brain tumors often cause pain or some other symptom in the body because they are impacting a portion of the brain which dictates some sort of reaction in the body. i've never heard of tumor in the breast being painful although i'm sure if it gets large enough it could

if you don't feel a lump there is probably nothing to worry about (again you are very young to have breast cancer). but go to doctor

i truly get the feeling that it isn't a tumor. but go to a doctor. for the cost of co-pay ($15-20) a doctor can give you an informed opinion

whereas a hospital will probably costs you hundreds or thousands of dollars

The actual tumor doesn't usually hurt. I hope everything turns out ok.

You know a mothers job is to keep her kids calm when it comes to diseases like cancer.. Automatically assuming her 15 y/o has tumor doesn't help. Do you have a lump? do you feel anything?

no there is no lump and my mother makes me feel really bad she is like ıf you have tumor your life is gonna end what are we gonna do even ıf you dont have it you cannot have more than one child and I dont even understand why she says these things she doesn't act like a mother ı just hate it

I went to hospital but however they didn't accept me because of my age so we will go another hospital on Tuesday and some doctors looked at my breast and they said there isn't any lump ı will let you know what happend when I come back from hospital thanks for asking

Veeeeery unlikely. Even if breast cancer runs in the family (brain cancer is unrelated here), 15 is too young to really be worried.
Still, to ease your mind, it can help to go to the doctor. Better than to stress about nothing.

At your age your breasts are still developing, which can make them painful. Around your period they can get sensitive too. Furthermore, your symptoms don't scream 'cancer', a lump would be more of a classical sign. Still most lumps aren't cancer.

Do you have a cold? Do you think you might be getting one? It sounds more like a swollen lymph node to me. Breast cancer in teenagers is almost unheard of. Go to a doctor to be sure.

no but lately I get a temperature immaditaly and ıt goes away I'm not sure ıf I will have cold but I hope I will and ıt's the reason

Yeah, I think you have some kind of low grade infection that's causing a swollen lymph node.

You are too young to have breast cancer, it`s very rare. My left breast hurts a lot when i`m pmsing. It gets very sore, swollen and you can even feel some tender lumps in the breast. These refers to fibrocystic breast disease that only occurs days before period ( premenstrual) which has no need of treatment whatsoever.

But if you see nipple discharge then i would advise you to go to the doctor

And breast cancer barely makes the boobs hurt. Unless there is an inflammatory while having breast cancer which i highly doubt. You are young and you don`t have anyone in the family who has it. I`m more then 100% sure that it is the period who plays with you

Yes, your breasts can hurt right around the time you get your period, it happens to me every time. I think it's the hormones in your body

Hurting breasts or swollen lymph nodes are actually very common before you get your period.
Besides that though, you can grow tumours at any age. My cousin died from a brain tumour when he was only 15.

But during puberty sore breasts are common so it isn't cut and dry guaranteed to be a tumor.

It's possible, but most likely not true. Breast pain is normal for all women, especially on or around the time of their period. You should be just fine!

Boobs hurt all of the time. Don't get yourself worked up over something like that. Don't go to the hospital that's a waste of money. Go see your gyno or pediatrician
