What pa wrong with my hand?

today I played volleyball in class and I hit the ball with my hand but now it's really sore. It looks like there's a vein that's usually not there and it really hurts to touch my hand and wrist. It also hurts to move it but only sometimes. What do I do?

Sounds like a sprain, hot and cold packs alternating and strap it up, but make sure the blood can flow. Don't do it too tight. Try and rest it if you can. Should be fine in a day or two.

Probably just overstretched. Or if you are not used to play volley, your hand is not used to hitting either. Normal. If it is still there after a few days, an overstretch of a tendon.

Ice for the first 48 hours then you can use some heat. Perhaps an ace bandage as well.
