This mouse was just a house pest that I grew to love and it died and right now Im tearing up.

Is Jeffery's body fresh or old?

Well firstly that's a rat not a mouse. Secondly it's gone into rigor mortis, which usually happens a few hours after death. So my guess is the rat has been dead for between few hours to 4 days.
They live less than a year, so probably old age. RIP, Jeffery.

Looks like Tom finally got to Jeffrey! RIP, Jeffrey!
To answer your question, Jeffrey''s body looks putrid and rotting at an alarming rate.
Rotting?
Lmao I hope so
Well, he looks younger than Mister Jingles, but Mister Jingles is still alive...

fell in love with a feminist... sucked the soul out of him and his last bit of manhood. lol
Lmaoo
if you look closely, he died looking for his heart... that he once had.
Poison.
Thats not your pet :P just a random dead mouse you found.
No it died under my couch!! And i knew it for months
*takes off Inspector glasses*
It must have been killed by... Poison.
š well this is just sad for me
Just like you said..'house pest', you changed your view on it over time, but yeah a lot of people see mice as a pest and would rather have it gone.
Pet mice however... :)
Is it common to end up falling in love with a "pest"
It depends.
Like if I would interact with it long enough, I'd probably grow attached to it. If I don't see it, I can't create a bond. Like when I saw a fox or hedgehog trust me enough to eat from my hand, it does something to me, you know? or a stray cat or something
I always find it amazing when a wild animal trusts you
Yes it feels really nice too
Pretty much like a relationship with humans m? xD
Never really had a really connection with someone or even barely at all just crushes and other guys who liked me
It doesn't have to be love.
you also have relationships with your family and friends, it's different, but it's still a bond
Yeah but my family is annoying as hell
Same xD
Life is hard
Yeah it sure throws some stuff at us. But it's what we do with/after it, that matters
Did Jeffery left kids? : /
No he was single
Yes but I had a owner connection with him.
Nah dood that mouse is sick as hell
My mom put rat poison food but the mouse avoided it
How would u know that?
I watched Jeffery for months and he always was around me
1. Were u legit stalking a mouse
2. There's no way he could always be around u!
He likes to hang in the living room.
Ok it was cute but trust me it was also smart
Lmao woman smart people have succumbed to the trickeries of poison I feel like Mr. Jeffrey could've made that mistake once or twice
We would have moments where he would be caught red handed trying to steal my food and we would stare in each other's eyes for a minute and he would run away
Well I'll tell u this mice aren't stupid. Mammals and birds r just about the only animals that can form emotional bonds with humans
This does not mean he couldn't have succumbed to poison
Mice are mammals too.
Yeah that's exactly why I was talking about XD
Oh ok but I'm just emotional right now
Well you know the best way to get over it is to move on, because now Jeffrey's gone, but his evolutionary struggle is over.
Okaaaay
I think it was poisoned. I'm sorry for your loss.
Lmfao
How is this funny!šÆššššš
I knew him
cat could of killed it if u got 1
That's disgusting.
