I don't like to take meds, so I draw, write, sing, play instruments, exercise, and talk to people I trust.

Meditation, working out, sex, venting. Do things you just enjoy and get pleasure from, working out isn't for all but that's what I do when really stressed or depressed, same with meditating. Gaming also helps me a lot with these.

Seriously? OK! Go out for a long walk, jog or run. Costs nothing and only takes an hour or so. Better if you can find somewhere interesting, like along a seafront. Through woodland. By a river. Along a canal towpath.
