Can you test for a miscarriage after a long time past? How can doctors check if you ever had a miscarriage?

I believe that it is extremely hard to tell, unless it is by family history and your personal medical history. The only thing I would suggest doing is to check to see if you have fibroids or God forbid cancer. That's what happened to my later mother every time she got pregnant, all three were miscarriages because the babies umbilical cord attached to them. Also check to see your rate of infertility as well for future reference. Stress and unhealthy diet can also cause miscarriages.

@Aske I doubt its nothing. Its always SOMETHING. Like they said that my late mothers problems was nothing, and then years later she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and then 3 years ago stage II cervical cancer. Not a joke. Go get a second opinion. Something is not correct, and these doctors are refusing to tell you the truth. They have to know something and is hiding it. Go seek another doctor.

@Asker but for ALL 3 MISCARRIAGES? That says a lot. Unless you are living a very unhealthy lifestyle and environment, I hardly believe it's just stress. A lot of things happens within a woman's body. I still personally you should go get checked out for other health problems if you are over it. There has to be something. And I'm saying this for your safety, because you don't know what kind of problems and diseases can come up if you end up infertile permanently.

I know... I tried 3 doctors... One say stress... One say im unlucky... One say i have a weak bodu

@Asker You may need to take a huge break from this, recover and figure out what is going on when your mind is more at ease. This is just too much. You are able to get pregnant so that's obvious. But your inability to keep the pregnancy worries me.

@Asker so then the 2nd doctor was wrong. Unlucky is another way of saying you can't get pregnant. It's your inability to hold a pregnancy. Once again, take a breather. Perhaps its not you, but who you got pregnant from. I don't know if your married or not, but that sounds like the case.

Its my husbands. We both did a checkup and we came out fine thats why we are baffled by it.

If you keep having miscarriages you need to find the right doctor to see why. It is NOT normal for a woman to miscarry without a health reasoning. It could be something that is easy to fix, or it may be more involved. Remember a woman's reproductive health is directly tied to your over all health. Anything amiss with your reproductive organs is cause for concern.

Doctors usually have a chart with your past medical history. For pregnancies, it'll be documented as G/P/A which stands for gravida/para/abortion. If you were pregnant twice in the past, and had one miscarriage, it'll be written something like G/P/A : 2/1/1 so they would know.

If its with a doctor who never seen me before! Can they test it out?

Well, if the doctor is a gynecologist, he would probably know because women who have never given birth before have a very small o shaped cervical opening. Once a woman gives birth, the opening becomes stretched and dilated. So he will know that you've given a birth in the past but probably not abortion unless you tell him.

I never given birth but had 3 miscarriage in the last 3 years with 5 months ago being the latest one... Im just wondering

If your fetus never exited your cervix, then he probably wouldn't know since there won't be any visible signs. And I'm so sorry that you had to go through all this. It must have been real tough emotionally and physically.

You need to go to the doctor as soon as it happens if you miscarry multiple times. It's not normal. Good luck girl. I hope everything works out or you
