While wanting to help people is a wonderful reason to follow this path, it shouldn't be a requirement. To me, it's more important that they are good at their job, and sometimes there is a direct correlation between how well you do your job and the amount of money you make.

No, I'm not mostly deaf because when I got ear infections and my eartubes kept falling out we got the best ear surgeon in michigan to operate, he was a complete and utter asshole whose only redeeming quality was that he was a damn good ear surgeon.

There's already enough exam and the selection is already super tough. (I'm in 1st year medecine)
But if this "psych exam" replace other exams yes why not

Nope because if they know what kind of test /exam they're taking. They end up not being too truthful, which this has been proven when people know.

Psyche exams don't work. They have used them in certain career fields for many years and still get the same corrupt people anyways.
