If you drink a tall glass of water every hour, you will have to be up every hour through the night, to do it every hour. Which is alright, because you will be up that much peeing all that water. And getting no sleep is not healthy.
I drink water constantly... it's really really hard to actually ingest enough water for it to be harmful.
Actually too much water can cause issues. Drinking almost double what you should isn't a good plan.

It's more like 2 liters of water a day. Honestly drink as much water as you want. Those saying too much is unhealthy you have to drink A LOT to get to that point and you'd start feeling sick long before any real damage would be done.
I drink a ton and never had any health consequences.
In general, drinking more than 4 cups every hour is excessive, and potentially hazardous.
