You know those foods that you love and crave? The high-salt, high-fat, high-calorie, high-EVERYTHING? The fast food, the soda, the crisps, the chocolate? To be the size of the man in the second picture, you have to eat 3000-8000 calories a day. 3000 is the minimum and 8000 is the typical maximum. If you don't believe that, go watch the show Supersize vs. Superskinny. It is a UK show and you can find it on YouTube.
What most people don't seem to understand is that your stomach expands. Whereas you can't fathom eating 3000+ calories a day, they are used to eating large qualities of fats and carbs. Salt, fats, carbs, and sugar are things that people crave, but the cravings only increase as much as you give in to them. If you eat those foods, the normal portions become too little and you want to stuff your face with a HUGE plate of them. If you don't eat them, however, you simply don't want them.
Eating to obesity is typically a result of stress, boredom, sadness, or loneliness. People eat so much because there isn't anything they desire doing. They don't want to go out in public because people will judge them, they don't want to play sports, and they live a very inactive lifestyle with office careers. They sit at a desk and don't move around. I don't know about you, but not leaving my house makes me bored as hell. I eat simply because I can.
The key to maintaining a healthy weight is to eat more whole foods and keep active. Apparently, most people don't realize that, but the answers to our "mysterious weight gain" is right in front of our mouths.
Honestly, who cares? How does someones size affect you? Yes, some people are overweight because of bad eating habits and not much exercise. Does that affect you as a person? Have you ever thought that maybe something traumatic happened to them and they turned to eating. Sometimes rape victims feel so shitty about themselves, that they resort to overeating because they dont want/feel beautiful. Sometimes they get bullied (such as now for your ignorant post) and they turn to eating cuz they feel like they'll never be beautiful so whats the point of trying.
Or what about the people who are so skinny that all you see is skin and bones? Does that affect you too or is that normal? Sometimes people just can''t gain the weight no matter how much they tried, does that make all skinny people anorexic?
Learn your facts before you open your mouth.
I mean second picture is not FAT. The first picture is what is FAT.
I really cannot be like the 2nd picture by overeating. That is not fat.
Yes, pic #2 is from eating too much. More calories in than being burned by the body. If his particular lifestyle means his body only burns 1600 calories a day and he eats 1700, in time one can end up just like that. The more over the daily intake is, the faster this will happen. It doesn't take much for a non-active person to go over their intake a day. I see people drink their daily intake in soda and sports drinks. The food just puts them over the cliff.
Another very common thing is people eat too much prepackaged and take out food, which is high in sodium. They retain a ton of water weight. Those are the people once they start eating right, they drop like 30 pounds in a couple weeks. All of it water retention.
You are wrong because when you gain fat and get bigger, your body burns more calories. To be like the 2nd picture, you must be eating without stopping at all ALL DAY ALL NIGHT but who wants to eat without stopping at all day all night. I would vomit. It would be no FUN.
I mean eating never stopping.
Eat more calories than your body burns and you pack on fat. That is an indisputable fact. Period. Just because a fat person burns more calories than a slim person of the same height does not change the rules. Too much intake, fat gets stored.
The thing is when you become like the man in the 1st photo, your body will already be able burn a lot of calories. When you keep gaining weight, your body will start burning fat so your weight gain will stop before you can be like 1st photo even if you eat too much food. You will not be able to be like 2nd photo unless you are eating never stopping all day.
And no, you do not have to eat all day long. A 12 ounce can of coke has 120 calories. If you eat breakfast, check out how many calories are in anything breakfast related. Cereal is horrible. Check out how many calories are in anything dairy. Mayonnaise is ridiculous. All these calories add up and if it isn't being burned, it gets packed on.
the bigger you are, the more calories your body burns. So you will not able able to be like 2nd photo by overeating. Weight gain will stop before you can be this fat. I mean you will be like 1st photo, you will not be like 2nd photo. If it is normal overeating.
When I was eating a lot of deserts, taking high calories. I was able to be like the 1st photo. Even if I was a lot of food, I was not able to be super morbidly obese. I was normal obese, which is the first picture.
Even if I was eating a lot of food, I was normal obese. Not Super Morbidy Extraordinary Obese like the 2nd picture.
What you dont understand is, with normal over-eating, you become normal obese. Not Super Moribdly Extra Obese like the 2nd picture.
Here is what happens... lets say person #2 is very inactive. They maybe walk 1/4 mile overall all day long. At ideal weight their intake should be roughly 1800 calories to support their body. But they drink lots of soda, eat snacks, eat high calorie foods and intake is somewhere around 5000 calories a day. The body will balloon up to support that intake then level off. The 5000 calories a day becomes the amount of calories required for that body to maintain itself at that weight.
I knew a guy that was much larger than #2. He sat down and recorded everything he ate and discovered he was taking in 10,000 calories a day. He dropped it down to 2,500 a day and dropped the weight in a year.
I was like #1. I was eating around 3,500 calories a day. I never ate breakfast, rarely ate lunch, just overate at dinner and drank too much soda.

Some people have diseases that make it incredibly difficult to lose weight. I choose not to prejudge people like that. I have 2 family members who had a rare hereditary disease that caused them to gain weight, with difficulty losing it. They are both gone now.
I posted 2 different photo to show what is fat. I mean first picture is FAT. Second picture is not FAT. I cannot be like 2nd picture by eating. This is beyond being fat. It is not fat.
They eat a lot and work in a place where they can't work out and are lazy. I do agree that it's a mental illness if you allow yourself to get that big.
I mean the first picture is fat but the second picture is not fat. It is different. You cannot be like the 2nd picture by eating.
That's a genetic problem like hyperthyroidism
If not, he must be eating without stopping all day all night. I mean eating without stopping at all to get that big. I don't know. 10.000 calories per day or more? I guess the second picture is illness. I've been fat when I ate so much but I was like the first picture. Second picture is very abnormal. It is beyond being FAT.
You don't need to eat 10,000 calories a day to get that big... Anyone who overeats and/or eats junk food without exercising can reach that size eventually.
@TheWaterBear
You'll be like the first picture. It is FAT. What you dont understand is second picture is not FAT.
You can be fatter than the 1st picture but You'll look nothing like the 2nd picture. That is not fat.
Yes it's fat, but maybe they went through a tough time with their life
I cannot be super morbidly obese by eating. That is really impossible. That is not fat. That is super morbidly obese.
Being obese is a illness
Both physical and mental.
What the fuck? Being fat is nothing like being super morbidly obese. The second photo is not fat. It is beyond fat.
lol. I guess your a doctor?
Those 2 photos are too different. If you see the both photos the same way, I am sorry to say it but you are stupid. The second photo is a man who is super morbidly obese. Are you even aware of what the hell it is? This is not fat. Are you even aware of the size of that man in the 2nd photo?
I don't want to be rude but those 2 photos are really very different things. The second photo is Super Morbidy Obese. That is really not the kind of fat you think it is.
Lol. Fat means store of extra fat. There are different levels of fat and all of them are obese. lol
Yeah but a man who is at the bmi of 30 is nothing like a man who is at the bmi of 70. He is actually much more like a normal weight person compared to a man who is at the bmi of 70 or 80. It will even be difficult for him to move. When I was at the bmi of 30, I was able to drive a bike faster my friend who was the bmi of 24. He was being more tired than me. What can a person at the bmi of 70 or 80 do? Will he even be able to sit on that bike let alone ride the bike?
People who overeat to this degree of #2 usually have intense emotional issues and use food as a coping mechanism the way some others use alcohol or drugs.
Its called Obesity.
People just don't seem to care about themselves.
no it is not called obesity. The first picture is called obesity. The second is not. I mean I really dont understand people talk like the man in the 2nd picture is fat. He is not fat. It is not fat. The first picture is what is fat. I cannot be like the 2nd picture by overeating. Really. It is because when you gain fat and look bigger, your body starts burning more calories. For this reason, I cannot be like the 2nd picture by overeating. It is not obesity. It is maybe super morbidly obesity?
depression, illness, and experience of constant rejection played a factor maybe
You cannot be super morbidly obese with depression. Even if I ate too much food, What I could be is normal obese. Not super morbidly obese. You will not be super morbidly obese by eating. Your stomach cannot get that much food inside it. You must be eating never stopping all day all night. There is no other way to be super morbidly obese.
Asker, did you even read my opinion? It is possible.
@SilentShadow
Look, this is not fat. It is super morbidly obese? Do you know what that is? You cannot be super morbidly obese by just over-eating unless you never stop eating all day all night. This is not fat. This is super morbidly obese.
You MUST be a troll if all you're willing to do is argue with everyone that gives an opinion. You asked a question and I gave you a very long, well-thought-out response. Geez. Just stop already.
@SilentShadow dont waste your time with him
@SilentShadow
I am not a troll. You can't be super morbidy obese by eating? You cannot be the bmi of 60 or 70 or 80 by just over-eating. You cannot become this fat by eating. You are a troll because you see this a normal thing which happens by eating over-eating but it is not.
He is at least bmi 70 or maybe more than that. You dont even know what you are saying. You cannot be this fucking fat by just over-eating.
YOU CAN. Stop being in denial and face the damn facts. Also, comment on my opinion instead so this lovely girl doesn't have to be notified. You CAN be MORBIDLY OBESE by EATING. Clear your head, clear everything you thought about the human body, and go talk to someone that has a BMI over 60. Go ahead. Go ask them what their life is like and how they got there. Seriously, I think you should.
Believe it or not, it is a normal thing. People eat themselves into a fucking grave. They eat their feelings until they are bedridden and depend on the aid of someone else. Someone that has to bathe them, buy food for them, and make sure they're still breathing. Like I said in my opinion (which is FACT), they eat up to 8000 calories a day of high-fatty foods! Seriously, go watch the show Supersize vs. Superskinny. It will show you how they get so big.
@SilentShadow
The highest bmi I had was 30. I ate a lot foods. High sugared deserts and everything but I was not able to gain any more weight. Even if I ate a lot of food, the fattest I had been was the bmi of 30 :D I was also drinking a lot of beers too :D The thing is when you gain weight and get bigger, your body starts burnining more calories. That is why your gaining weight stopped somewhere. I believe my body was able to burn a lot of calories at the bmi of 30. I was eating deserts just before I sleep but I did not get fatter than the bmi of 30 since my body could already burn a lot of calories at the bmi of 30.
It is a very good thing that your body starts burnining more calories when you gain weight. This is what makes it more difficult to gain more weight after you gain a certain amount of weight.
I actually don't give a damn about health but I sure wouldn't want to be at the bmi of 70. Thanks god it is not an easy thing to get that big since metabolism gets fasfer and burn more calories while gaining weight.
K. I'm done with you. I know what's real and you're fixed on the idea that it's impossible. By the way, your body doesn't burn THAT many calories when you gain weight. If that were true, then obese people would naturally LOSE weight, instead of continuing to gain. To get a BMI of 30, you likely weren't eating as much as you thought you were. Like I said, some people eat 8000 calories a day. Those people are definitely not losing weight anytime soon.
Sorry for the notification spam, bebos.
@SilentShadow
Fatter people have faster metabolism, go learn about it. When you gain weight, your metabolism gets faster, your body burns more calories. When you consume 3000 calories, you wil gain weight until your body is able to burn 3000 calories. When you are at that weight, your gaining weight stops. The fatter you are, the more difficult it becomes for you to keep gaining. But as for losing weight, calories don't always work because body wants to protect itself and do all the work with very little calories. That is why you have to force your body to lose weight by doing cardio. Once you have gained weight and have lost weight, you are at the risk of getting back the weight you had lost. When you slow down your body by taking much less calories, body will protect itself not to lose the fat and it will slow down your metabolism. When you are back to the way a normal weight person eats, you will gain weight because of it.
Yes aging, laziness and unhealthy diet
The second photo has nothing to do with it. You cannot be super morbidly obese by eating. That is beyond it. That is really illness. They never stop eating all day all night. There is no other way to be super morbidly obese.
I's a see food diet... ya see food... ya eat it
*cringe*
Americans are unfit
Do you really think the man in the 2nd picture is fat? I myself dont think. It is really different.
No, he's just a blob loser who lives in her mom's basement
Looks. That has nothing to do with being unfit. That is super morbidly obese. You know that is not fat. That is beyond fat. You cannot be super morbidly obese by just over-eating. You must be eating never stopping all day all night. That is not fat. That is super morbidly obese.
Fat is something that happens by over-eating. Super Morbidly Obese is very different. You can't just be super morbidy obese by just over-eating. What the fuck? We are talking about being super morbidly obese, not fat.
Genetics maybe
